Siniša D. Simić

Attorney at Law Sinisa D. Simic was born on 14.5.1957. in Sisak. He graduated at the Faculty of Law University of Belgrade in 1980. Since 1981. till October 2003. he worked in the public prosecution organization on the position of the intern from 1981. to 1982, on the position of the associate 1982. to 1986., as the Deputy of the First Municipal Public Prosecutor in Belgrade from 1986. to 1995., from 1995. to 2001. as the Deputy of the District Public Prosecutor in Belgrade. From the 2001. to 2003. he was fulfilling the duties of the Republic Public Prosecutor of the Republic of Serbia.

From October 2003. he workes as the Attorney at Law with office based in Belgrade.

During his working career in the prosecution organization, he represented Public Prosecutor office in various types of cases, and he is currentlly elected as the defender in cases before the courts of diferent jurisdiction.

Before the International War Crimes Tribunal in Hague he was the elected defense attorney in the case IT-02-54-T-R77.2.

From 2002 to 2004. he was the member of the Bar Examination Comission of the Ministry of Justice for the Criminal law.

He is elected defense attorney in several cases before the Special Department of the Higher Court in Belgrade and he is also engaged before the Department for War Crimes of Higher Court of Belgrade.
